Several buildings included in the Esplanade plan will be 3 story mixed use buildings. The ground floor will be dedicated to retail space and the second and third floors will be work/live condominium units. Drawing on aspects of an urban lifestyle, residence of these work/live units will have the flexibility to run their business, maintain a loft type residence or both. In some cases, attached garages with 2 level town home units will be included in the mix. Including these work/live opportunities in the mix will encourage a critical mass of on-site users that become synergistic with the restaurant/retail venues in the area.
