Cooper's Hawk Winery and Restaurant in Burr Ridge, IL, is a unique concept with
demanding programming operating within a fairly tight budget. We were pleased to complete our first
project with Tim McEnery and Tom Roos, who already have a store in Orland Park.
Built by Lorient Construction, the concept is a working winery, wine retail
store and a restaurant with full service menu.
The bar has an edgier feel arising from the concrete-like porcelain tile floor, the
stainless steel and wood bar die, and the brick veneer walls. The dining room has a slightly more
refined design, with wood-patterned vinyl flooring, carpet inlays, dark wood millwork, and large
fabric light fixtures. A feature table, seating 12, is highlighted by an expansive fabric drum
fixture and a large wine bottle display wall. The private dining room is enclosed with a
glass storefront and has a view into the showpiece winery, and the winery is equipped
with fermenting tanks and riddling racks.
