Walter Pancewicz obtained a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1982. From 1982-1984, he began his career as an architect for Kessler & Merci Architects. In 1984, he joined Bernheim & Kahn Ltd. where he worked as a Project Architect. In 1988, he joined Griskelis + Smith, also as a Project Architect. In 1989, Walter became a founding member and Principal of Aria Group Architects. That same year he received his Illinois Architecture License. As Vice President, he serves as the Corporate CFO and Managing Partner. He heads the design studio whose clients include many nationally recognized restaurants such as California Pizza Kitchen, Martini Park, and Nordstrom Café & E-bar. New clients include Nando’s Peri Peri, an internationally known restaurateur making its first foray into the U.S. market via Washington, D.C.
