TopGolf is a unique destination entertainment facility that uses computer microchips embedded in regulation golf balls to create interactive games for both experienced and first time golfers. Randy Starr and Joseph Vrankin of TopGolf were looking for a design team that could help realize the potential of their concept. In their quest for the right look for TopGolf they visited many restaurants and entertainment concepts such as Redstone and Pinstripes, and a common theme emerged: their favorites were designed by Aria Group Architects. They then decided that Aria Group was a natural fit for the design evolution of the TopGolf concept.

rendered above is the design for the new location in Allen, TX, which is a 65,000 SF, 3-story, indoor/outdoor space featuring 94 hitting bays, four bars, meeting facilities, restaurants, and seating for over 300 people. We are also designing a new rooftop terrace for the existing location in Wood Dale, IL.

Aria Group Architects, Inc. is currently in the construction document phase of an exciting entertainment concept to be located at City Park in Lincolnshire, Illinois.  In 1998 Aria Group began design work on this mixed-use center for ECD Company. Over the years, we have continued our work in the development with the addition of an end cap structure and various tenant build-out projects.

The current project in the works, conceived by the inspirational vision of Scott Greenburg of ECD Company, is an entertainment venue called Viper Alley. This live music venue will host a variety of musical acts in a themed environment that includes bowling, a pizza café and amenities to cater to group events. State-of-the-art lighting and sound will envelop patrons as they enjoy the music of local and national talent. Six bowling lanes, comfortable lounge areas, and an open pizza oven station are featured in this industrial themed venue ideally suited for the steel, masonry and glass retail center Aria Group Architects designed over 10 years ago.

Since Boyd Gaming purchased the Blue Chip Casino that Aria Group planned and designed in 1995, we have had the pleasure of continuing our work on the site with several interior build-out projects.  In 2005 we designed several venues in the docking pavilion that included a deli, fine dining restaurant, a coffee kiosk and a new buffet concept.  We recently assisted Boyd Gaming in revitalizing the buffet. In 2008 we designed the "It's Vegas Baby!" restaurant and show lounge as well as The Game, a sports-book style bar and restaurant.

Our work for Boyd Gaming included master planning the docking pavilion at the Par-A-Dice Casino in East Peoria, Illinois.  Aria Group developed several planning concepts that sought to better utilize their existing facilities, enhance pedestrian flow and re-concept the venue mix to better meet the current market trends.  In addition, Aria Group completed a fast track project to upgrade the buffet restaurant, re-design the entry and properly addressed cueing and entrance traffic flow issues.

ECD Company asked us to assist them in modifying two areas in their WIT hotel property in downtown Chicago.  Aria Group worked with COO Lou Carrier on a very tight schedule to bring better function to their 2nd floor Pheonix Lounge that overlooks the lobby.  New table seating was introduced, lounge areas were redeveloped and a focal point service bar and bottle display was added. The top floor lounge called the “Roof” required seating modifications inside and on the outside decks.  New drink rails were added to better utilize space and enhance the patron experience.
