Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House

  • Location(s): Multiple locations.

Aria Group has been working with Del Frisco’s since 2011 on their two concepts, the Double Eagle Steakhouse and Del Frisco’s Grille. The large steakhouse format of the Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse references the Texas heritage of the company but also embraces the local flavor of each new location. For example, in Chicago, the first location we designed, the two and a half story, 24,000 square foot restaurant is housed in the historic 1940’s Art Deco Esquire Theater. As a reference to the old theater, the Esquire marquee sign was salvaged and displayed at the first floor entry.  The main feature of the space is the 4-story wine tower that is suspended from the roof and houses over 5,000 wine bottles. In Orlando, a few clever, yet subtle details emulate the melding of the Del Frisco’s brand personality with flavor of the city of Orlando. One such detail is a reclaimed bicycle chain chandelier over the grand staircase, the shape of which is inspired by the art deco chandeliers. Another is a black and white postcard wall covering in the intimate bar niches that reference Orlando as a travel destination city.
