Baker’s Crust had a handful of existing locations but approached Aria Group because they wanted to refresh their look for their new location in Ashburn, VA. The concept was clear – take design inspiration from the food. Their menu focuses on quality ingredients from superior farming and delicious oven fired pizza. The design called for a lighter, casual space that was inviting at all times of day. The reclaimed details help provide a warmth and soul to the space while the surrounding artwork subtly hints at the attention to detail that goes into every plate Baker’s Crust serves. During the evening, the large pendants provide warmth which easily transitions the casual day vibe into a relaxed and fun atmosphere for the later in the day. The bar becomes a central focus as day turns to night, highlighting an extensive beer program and a rooftop dining area provides an option to dine or drink when the weather allows.
