Through a modern aesthetic with rustic sensibilities, the design of One Fifty One Kitchen | Bar sought to materialize the clients’ vision. Their “approachable reinvention” of the farm-to-table concept strives to source local, sustainable Midwestern ingredients throughout their seasonal menu.
The exterior façade boasts custom stained reclaimed wood planks with accents of corral boards that create an overhead trellis, drawing patrons in from the bustling main street. The handcrafted animal busts, made with repurposed materials, flank the wall of the dining room where a barn inspired dining niche anchors the back wall. The design creates the ideal setting for friends and neighbors to gather in a comfortable and inviting environment.
