Stan’s Donuts

Aria Group collaborated with Rich Labriola to evolve the design of Stan’s Donuts and introduced his 12th location to the Gold Coast. Leaving the youthful bright white and retro donut shop vibe behind, the brand elements introduced in this location are sophisticated with warm wood and a pink palette. Early on in the design process, the curve of the existing storefront proved a challenge for maintaining enough seats and functional space. The storefront is accentuated with a curved marble top order counter and radiating walnut wood ceiling planks. These design elements not only compliment the shape of the space, but also lead customers towards the donut case.  Due to increased sales of coffee, our client wanted to create a comfortable atmosphere for customers to stay and enjoy coffee with a donut (or two). Horizontal walnut wall planks adorn the columns and add warmth to the space, which is emphasized by the raw concrete floor. A variety of dining and counter height seating with outlets encourages customers to sit and enjoy the atmosphere.  They can also cozy up in an iconic plush pink corner banquette, under a large statement chandelier.
