Michael Velko, AIA

As Project Architect, Mike oversees quality control of construction documents for the studio and serves as a liaison between Project Coordinators and Project Managers. He collaborates with the team on the development of construction documents and provides technical and construction expertise. Mike coaches, mentors, and educates staff in regard to code and technical knowledge. He works mostly with Topgolf and Shake Shack projects.

Mike joined Aria Group in 2012 as a Project Coordinator and was promoted in 2019 to Project Architect.  His experiences over the years include being a principal at Architectural Services Enhancement, and Architect at Healy Bender & Associates. Mike is passionate about social issues and is involved in Shriners Hospitals for Children and Habitat for Humanity, to name a few.
