Aria Group has been working with Del Frisco’s since 2011 on The Double Eagle Steakhouse. The large format of the Double Eagle references the Texas heritage of the company but also embraces the local flavor of each new location. In Chicago, the two and a half story, 24,000 square foot restaurant was housed in the historic 1940’s Art Deco Esquire Theater. Inside, a 4-story wine tower is suspended from the roof and houses over 5,000 wine bottles. A few years later, Aria was commissioned to design a sophisticated lounge that reinforces their expansive champagne and wine collection. In Orlando, subtle details emulate the melding of the Del Frisco’s brand personality with flavor of the city of Orlando. A black and white postcard wall covers intimate bar niches that reference Orlando as a travel destination city. Plano, Texas is all about big, bold and contemporary. A two story chandelier provides grounding for bar spaces on both floors, traveling through an opening in the floor.
