Friedman Properties, a longtime collaborator with Aria Group, came to us to analyze the potential for a site on Grand Ave. in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. The site was previously occupied by an auto-service business and parking lot, and Friedman was looking to see how the lot could be transformed and utilized in connection to the neighboring hotel. Aria Group utilized a portion of the exterior shell, added a roof deck, and created an outdoor patio connecting directly to the hotel. The redesign of the space captures the imagination and showcases the possibilities of a currently vacant site. Demonstrating a plan for a space like this enables buyers and investors to see a viable future in a property that may go otherwise overlooked.
