Megan Walsh, AIA

As Principal, Megan is a design leader at Aria and leads our Client Strategies. As a design leader in the firm, she leads the Aria Brand Studio and the design of Restaurant & Entertainment projects. She focuses on building relationships with clients and collaborators – valuing how relationships are the building blocks of our success as a company.  She in particular enjoys brainstorming the client and project team – developing solutions together to support the project goals.

Megan has completed projects across the country and internationally for a number of multi-unit and independent clients including: Verdad, Mattr Biowellness Club, Topolobampo, Bar Sotano, Rick Bayless Tortazo, Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille, Carve American Grille, Mastro’s Steakhouse, Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, Esquire Champagne Room, Nando’s US & Canada, Wagamama, and Pono Ono Poke.

Megan joined Aria initially in 2002.  She moved to California in 2005, where she gained further experience in high-end residential, office, and retail design. Upon returning to Chicago in 2010, she rejoined Aria as a Senior Designer and was promoted to Principal in 2024. Megan is a licensed architect and her previous experience includes LR Development (Related Midwest), Lettuce Office, and Robert Mahterian Architects. She is a mom to 2 boys and enjoys painting and traveling.

Having worked with Perry’s on restaurant concepts and branding projects for more than a decade, Aria Group was excited for the opportunity to bring their latest vision to life.
In addition to stunning architecture and interior design, Aria collaborated with Perry’s Restaurants to help launch an entirely new concept – Verdad – by developing a full suite of branding collateral.
Rick and Lanie Bayless and the team at Frontera asked us to reinvent the basement space below Frontera Grill into Bar Sotano.
Making its debut in Austin, MATTR offers a holistic wellness experience in a high-end, relaxed space.
