Jennifer Ambrose, NCIDQ
Project Designer
As Project Designer, Jen leads project teams to develop cohesive designs throughout the entire project process – from concept design through schematic design, design development, construction drawings, specifications and construction administration. Jen strongly believes all great designs begin with a simple sketch. This philosophy has held true as she has been able to cross over into other design fields throughout her career including architecture, interior design, brand imaging, graphic design, web design, and fine art. It has always been important for Jen to maintain the mindset of both an artist – accomplished in hand sketching, and an interior designer – with technical knowledge of strong computer design skills. Her knowledge of how to fuse both talents enable her to guide the team in creating truly unique designs tailored to the client’s brand, project goals, and budget.
Jen joined Aria Group in 2016 as a Senior Designer and returned in 2021 as a Project Designer. She has been a student of architecture and fine arts since childhood. After college, Jen began her career at Walt Disney Imagineering in Florida where she learned a strong foundation in the storytelling conceptual approach to design. Prior to her time at Aria, she was an associate and lead designer for Aumiller Youngquist, as well as working at Dacre & Youngquist, and owning her own creative firm O’Sketch Studio. Some examples of her project experience prior to Aria include Lyric Opera of Chicago, Museum of Science and Industry, and Marriott Hotels. During her time with Aria, Jen has worked with a variety of brands such as STK Steakhouse, Kona Grille, Bonci, Baker’s Crust, Roka Akor, BJ’s Brewhouse, and Turnstone Pizza.
