Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse San Diego, one of more than 15 locations across the country reflects its gorgeous surroundings. In over 10 years of working on Del Frisco’s concepts, Aria Group has striven to make each location unique while maintaining a cohesive standard of elegant modernism. This location on the San Diego Bay stands out with its innovative use of glass and oceanic tones in a subtle nod to the sea just outside. Floor to ceiling windows allow effusive natural light to play on the elaborate glass fixtures suspended in undulating waves from ceilings throughout the dining space and five private rooms. The custom lighting fixtures bring a sense of luminous, flowing motion. Textural wall treatments evoke the abstract shape, movement, and colors of the bay just beyond the historic waterfront location on the North Embarcadero. Glass walls filled with towering wine racks flow throughout both floors of the bi-level space, creating an airy, light-filled atmosphere while maintaining an intimate sense of privacy.
