Village Tavern – Branding

Aria worked with Village Tavern to refresh their branding to showcase their identity as a traditional neighborhood space with old-world integrity alongside modern finishes.

Project Includes

Historically, taverns have been a communal space to eat, drink, socialize, and keep up to date with local & global politics. The brand identity for Village Tavern honors this tradition, as well as the history of the company. Established in 1984, Village Tavern has been a beloved neighborhood spot dedicated to serving scratch fare with quality ingredients. Aria’s goal for the rebrand was to maintain the integrity of the established brand while modernizing the visual identity.

Old world textures & character are at the center of the brand design. Our team pulled inspiration from the print press which was the primary method of sharing news in 18th century England when the popularity of taverns began to grow. Parchment & newspaper textures set the tone for a warm, inviting backdrop. Refined walnut wood & brass accents elevate the brand & align with a more modern design. A unique stamp design adds iconography to the brand assets & reflect the hand-made, quality dining experience.
